History of the Usher Matrix

The Usher Matrix is a business model created from 30+ years of accredited education and expertise in business optimization, human resources, learning and development, operational excellence, and management competencies.

As a mother-and-son team, Dr. Millie and Devin Usher developed the Usher Matrix model based on DiMaggio and Powell's institutional theory (1983) and Womack's Lean 3 Ps model (2006). More recently, the Usher Matrix has been updated to include Goleman's (1998) emotional intelligence model principles.

The Usher Groups' comprehensive real-world experiences in multiple industries, position the Usher Matrix as a transformative solution for organizations seeking to drive growth and achieve outstanding results.

The Usher Matrix comprises six key concepts across nine domains that foster a healthy, thriving organization. The first three concepts start with

"E": EDUCATE, EMPOWER, and EXPAND.

The other three concepts begin with the letter

"P": PEOPLE, PROCESS, and PURPOSE.

In summary, the Usher Matrix is a powerful tool that helps groups and organizations identify specific actions for growth and success. The model promotes optimism and positive change.
